Steffani is an experienced fundraiser with a demonstrated history of working in education and nonprofit organizations. Prior to joining City Academy in 2014, Steffani was an associate director of development at the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis. Previously, she worked at Emory University where she served as the senior assistant director of regional programs for the Goizueta Business School and assistant director of development at the Emory Alumni Association.
Steffani’s passion for people led to her relationship focused professional roles. She earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri, then studied at Indiana University – Bloomington to earn a master of education in higher education and student affairs. Steffani worked for five years as an advisor to fraternity and sorority communities at The Ohio State University and Georgia State University.
Steffani’s favorite titles at school is “Sydney’s Mommy” and “Gabby’s Mommy”. Steffani is both an employee and parent at City Academy.
In the St. Louis community, Steffani is the Vice Chair for the board of directors of Girls on the Run St. Louis. She’s a member of the 2018 class of Leadership St. Louis. Steffani is a member of Association of Fundraising Professionals and serves on the AFP Conference Planning Committee. Steffani serves on the board of the Golden Key Scholarship Fund.
