Monette DeSimone has been an educator for fourteen years and currently teaches second grade at City Academy. The 2017-2018 school year is Ms. DeSimone’s seventh year at City Academy. She holds a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Saint Louis University and is certified in both Early Childhood and Elementary Education. Monette is a member of Educators for Social Justice, National Association for Educators of Young Children (NAEYC), and serves on the Board of Directors of the St. Louis Teachers’ Recycle Center, Inc.. She is the ISACS Teacher Representative for City Academy and a Certified Facilitator for Novel Engineering.
