“At City Academy, the expectations are set high for everyone: students, parents, teachers, and staff. We, as a school, are challenging ourselves to grow academically and personally at a higher standard. This high bar enables students to walk away each day feeling proud of what they accomplished as a family and as individuals.”
Martha joined City Academy in 2015 as a student teacher in our early childhood classroom. She is now our Kindergarten Math and Cultural Studies Teacher. Before joining the City Academy family, Martha taught at the Downtown Children’s Center and as a substitute teacher in the Hazelwood School District. Her passion is providing hands-on education for students through a meaningful, active, and challenging curriculum.
When she’s not in the classroom, Martha enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her husband and family.
