Marilyn Hawkins joined the City Academy family first as a parent to Stephanie ‘09, and now as the food services coordinator. She is charged with creating healthy meals (breakfast and lunch) for City Academy scholars.

Her healthy meal planning skills and culinary creativity stem from her childhood experiences in family restaurants. Marilyn’s grandparents owned and operated Mom’s BBQ on Manchester, and her mother ran a restaurant in Poplar Bluff, Mo.
