City Academy is a private, independent elementary school (junior kindergarten to grade six) located in north St. Louis city. For ten years, we have offered a rigorous, inspiring, and affordable educational experience that challenges and supports each student.

But City Academy is no ordinary private school. Generous support from throughout the community allows us to serve families with limited opportunities. All families pay some tuition (based on their income) but 100% of our current students receive scholarships.

The results? City Academy alumni are thriving at the area’s most competitive secondary schools, including Chaminade, Crossroads, John Burroughs, MICDS, Priory, Visitation, Thomas Jefferson, Westminster, and Whitfield.
