NAIS serves and strengthens its member schools and associations by promoting high standards of educational quality and ethical behavior, preserving their independence, and advocating equal-access for all students.
ISACS: Independent Schools Association of the Central States www.isacs.org ISACS represents and accredits independent schools throughout the 15-state region of the Midwest. The purpose of ISACS is to promote the development of strong learning communities characterized by high achievements, social responsibility, and independence of governance, programs and policies. This goal is achieved through a rigorous accreditation process, targeted professional development programs, and focused support services.
ISSL: Independent Schools of Saint Louis www.independentschools.org Independent Schools of St. Louis is a non-profit professional association for St. Louis' local independent schools. ISSL was established in 1972, and includes over 38 independently governed elementary and secondary schools. Membership evaluation and accreditation are determined by ISACS.
