The Extended Day Enrichment Program at City Academy includes three components:
- Our After school program from 3:30-6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday each school day,
- Our school break extended care days including October 17-21, 2011 and December 27-30, 2011
- Our summer program lasting seven weeks in the months of June and July.
The Extended day staff is committed to providing enriching opportunities to each child in our program. By building strong relationships with the teaching staff, other faculty and parents, extended day staff members help create an encompassing experience in order to promote development for each City Academy student. Nearly 90% of City Academy students participate in the Extended Day Program, and we take this extra time with the children to introduce new experiences and possibilities.
