Preparing Our Children to be Their Best City Academy’s curricular programming encompasses the study of language arts, visual and performing arts, mathematics, science, social studies, Spanish and physical education from Junior Kindergarten through Sixth Grade.
Our extensive interdisciplinary curriculum gives us the flexibility to introduce and reinforce learning concepts through a variety of media. This enables teachers to use a multi-sensory approach to address the needs of the individual child. Students actively engage in the learning process through observation, discussion and inquiry, hands-on experiences and repetitive practice. Students are expected to apply learned concepts and skills in multiple settings and situations.
