City Academy’s fourth Buddy Morning, held in April, had a terrific turnout. The event paired community “buddies” with students, cooperating on projects related to each grade’s current studies. For example, third grade students and their buddies created business cards and ads as part of a business development unit, while sixth graders wrote short stories with their buddies. Many were repeat partners, and students were excited to see familiar faces!
