City Academy's Second Art Dash was held on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at Preservation Hall in Soulard. 

Art Dash is a unique way for couples to own a new piece of art while having fun obtaining it. The evening begins with all guests being assigned to a group. When their group is called they have to “dash” to the piece they want and claim it as their own. The event will feature over 120 pieces of art, donated by local artists. Along with the “dash” there will also be live and silent auctions featuring work by notable professionals.

This year's Art Dash raised over $33,000 and was attended by over 220 people.  City Academy held its first Art Dash event on May 5, 2007 at the Drive Agency downtown. The event raised over $26,000 and was attended by over 150 guests.
