City Academy's first class of graduates graduated in May 2005. Placement of graduates is encouraging and students currently attend some of the most academically rigorous secondary schools in St. Louis. We are extremely proud of our graduates and their families. Alumni volunteer regularly throughout the school year. We strive to maintain relationships with our graduates once they leave City Academy to assure their continued success.
Over the last two years we have had 23 graduates attend these types of schools:
- Private Independent schools: 13 (57%) (Chaminade, Churchill, Crossroads, John Burroughs, MICDS, Westminster, Whitfield)
- Charter Schools: 3 (13%) (Lift For Life, Ethel Hedgeman Lyle, Imagine)
- Religiously Affiliated Schools: 3 (13%) (Catholic, Lutheran)
- St. Louis Public Magnet Schools: 2 (9%) (McKinley Classical Academy)
- St. Louis Public Schools: 1 (4%)
- Webster Public Schools: 1 (4%)
